Journal I’ll be going to school in order to learn strategy from professionals. I want to have a business background that I can flaunt to prospective hiring managers. What this does require is that I continue to build my digital toolbox and project backlog. I need to build an understanding of what type of work I want to build and what type of persona I want to embody when I apply to jobs. Furthermore, I need to start to find jobs that I would want to apply to. I find as I continue to work on my application for IEI that I want a job that has the empowerment of the community as much as it has a design perspective. Similarly I want my personal work studio to function similar to a research and design incubator for community initiatives. I want it to not just be shilling for brands, but build community through events and helping those organizations around me build the connective infastructure to workers, audiences and donators.
